Had a thought. So far, we seem to have gotten rid of the ‘What are you going to be when you grow up’ question. But are we still too fixed on the thought of constant evolvement and development? Rolling stones and life-long learning and all that – all very important and true, but have we grown blind to what we have and are at the moment?
What if I’m already doing what I dreamt of? What if I already am what I want to be? And more precisely: What if I already have what it takes to be what I want to be? I might just already have all the competence, courage and wisdom to be the person I’m striving to be, I just haven’t yet put it all to use.
Maybe I could take a minute to stop thinking about the next step, and enjoy who I am right now.
